Corey Harris, M.A., C.A.
Corey Harris is a nationally credentialled Advocate with nearly 20 years of experience and education supporting survivors of gender-based violence. She has worked in community, healthcare, campus, and non-profit settings in the US and overseas with survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, harassment, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence. Corey earned B.A.s in Psychology and Women’s Studies (The Ohio State University), her M.A. in Leadership (Siena Heights University), and is currently completing her Doctorate of Education with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Corey is a confidential campus resource providing safety planning, assisting with supportive measures, offering emotional support, Title IX/police reporting information and accompaniment, and connecting with resources on and off campus, all from a trauma-responsive lens guided by survivors’ needs and personal choices.
