Anaëlle
Hi everyone! I’m Anaëlle (ah-nile), a fourth-year student at the University of Washington majoring in Education, Communities, and Organizations (ECO) and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures (MELC), with a minor in Arabic. I’m passionate about exploring how education and culture intersect to build thriving communities. Outside of classes you’ll often find me playing volleyball in the IMA, chasing sunsets, performing with Sayaw sa UW’s Filipino folk dancing club, and doodling stickers in my free time. Navigating cultural intersections as a mixed kid shaped my early years and sparked my curiosity about connection and diversity. Hosting exchange students in my family home only deepened this passion for languages and culture. So far, I’ve traveled to 19 countries and had the incredible opportunity to study abroad and live in Morocco, Jordan, and Thailand.
I first discovered LiveWell through their email magazine and was immediately drawn to their holistic approach to health, wellness, and education. As a Peer Health Educator (PHE), I love that my role allows me to keep learning about these topics for my own growth while sharing helpful knowledge and skills with others. One aspect of LiveWell that deeply resonates with me is my additional role as a Peer Wellness Coach. Since my first year at UW, I’ve experienced firsthand how empowering coaching can be to recognize my strengths and use them to move ever deeper into a life filled with flourishing and fulfillment.
My coaching style is grounded in curiosity and building from your strengths. What comes naturally to you that can be emphasized to help you reach your goals? What I love most about coaching is its ability to break down overwhelming challenges into the tiniest, most manageable goals. This makes building habits and untangling ourselves from unhelpful habits easier and more achievable. I’m thrilled to meet you and support your journey toward well-being. Looking forward to thriving together!
