Kevin
Hey! My name is Kevin Vintch, and I use he/him pronouns. I was born and raised in southern California and enjoy all kinds of sports, car trips, and my dog, Rosie. I am currently in my 3rd year at UW, part of Greek life, and currently studying psychology. I am also on the pre-med track with my end goal of becoming a psychiatrist. I have chosen this career path because I am extremely fascinated with mental health and enjoy helping people any way that I can. Along my journey, I have come across an amazing opportunity to further grow and develop, and it is to become a Peer Health Educator. As a PHE, I am able to combine all my interests under one job because we are here to provide evidence-based information that will improve an individual’s mental and emotional health. For my first year as a PHE, my goal is to “practice what I preach” and hopefully help a lot of my fellow Huskies in the process. Over the years of being a college student at UW, I have noticed that collegiate life at UW can be very stressful at times, but it is also some of the best times of our lives. I believe we all deserve an amazing college career, and the PHEs are here to help you achieve this experience.
