Hi there! My name is Ashley and I use she/her pronouns. I am an undergraduate student here at UW studying Visual Communication Design as well as Marketing. This is my first year as a PHE at Livewell and I am also the PHE Design Coordinator. Design and health education are two passions of mine that have always existed separately in my mind, but at Livewell I have been able to bridge that gap and see how design can aid in making health education widely accessible and digestible for everyone.

I believe in the interconnectedness of all life forms. As humans grow an understanding for themselves, they are also able to grow an understanding for the world around them. This starts with education. By giving everyone equal access to education about their personal health + wellbeing our sense of connectedness deepens, allowing us to lead with empathy, love, and compassion. Knowledge is power and being able to make intentional steps towards personal growth gives us a sense of altruistic concern for the well-being of others.
